Trend Micro Deep Security – Client Event – 3rd March 2011

Solving the Virtual & Cloud Computing Security Challenges with Trend Micro.

Through 2012, 60% of virtualised servers will be less secure than the physical servers they replace, according to Gartner.  Analysts warned that many virtualisation deployment projects are being undertaken without involving the information security team in the initial architecture and planning stages.

Krome Technologies, in conjunction with Trend Micro is hosting a city based event on March 3rd 2011 that will focus on the security challenges faced when moving from a physical to a virtual infrastructure, highlighting in particular some of the challenges with running traditional security solution in a virtualised environment commonly not considered.

We will also be discussing how with new technological approaches, and by implementing a security solution specifically designed to include virtual environments, you can protect your applications infrastructure and improve efficiency overall.

Who should attend?

  • Organisations that are looking to reduce costs, through server consolidation and/or virtualisation, but are not aware of the new security challenges this move will generate.
  • Organisations that have already moved to a virtual environment, but are yet to implement a security solution that provides appropriate protection.
  • Organisations that are required to achieve compliance with regulations, such as the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and ISO 27001 and 27002 made more difficult by virtualisation.
