Krome Charity Support

Making a Positive Impact in our Community

We are deeply committed to making a positive impact in our community and supporting our charity partners.

We proudly collaborate with charity organisations such as Shooting Star Children’s Hospices and the Runnymede Food Bank to contribute to their invaluable work.

Through various fundraising initiatives and volunteering opportunities, we encourage our team members to actively participate in giving back to those in need. Whether it’s organising charity events, volunteering in the community, collecting for our local food bank, or participating in fundraising activities our team embodies our company’s values of compassion and social responsibility.

Whether lives are measured in days, weeks, months or years, Shooting Star Children’s Hospices are there to make every moment count. They support families from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement with a range of nursing, practical, emotional and medical care.

Over the past 6 years our incredible team have been commited to supporting the charity, and have taken on challenges such as running marathons, climbing mountains, jumping out of planes, taking part in glow runs, sponsored walks, firewalks and so much more! Our team have also given their time to volunteer at the Hospice, helping to tidy the hospice gardens, paint furniture, pack Christmas cards and wrap Christmas presents.

We continue to encourage our team to take part in fundraising and volunteering iniatives, supporting Shooting Star Children’s Hospice and raising vital funds for their work supporting families in our community.

The Runnymede Foodback

In light of the escalating cost of living crisis and the surging demand for community food banks, we’ve taken proactive steps to support our local community by partnering with The Runnymede Foodbank, part of the Trussell Trust network.

The Trussell Trust operates over 1,300 food bank centers across the UK. Their mission revolves around providing essential emergency food and support to individuals and families struggling with hardship, ensuring that no one has to face hunger alone.

Through regular donation drives held throughout the year, we strive to make a tangible difference in the lives of those in need and helping alleviate hunger within our community.

Our support ranges from generic food donations to targeted collection drives, such as Easter Egg and School Lunch Bag Appeals.
