Krome Technologies help raise money for homeless charity ‘Crisis’

The team at Krome Technologies have been helping to support the national homeless charity Crisis for Christmas this year. If you aren’t familiar with Crisis they are the national charity for homeless people in the UK. They’re dedicated to ending homelessness and changing lives by getting people off the streets and out of homelessness for good.

As part of Christmas Jumper Day this year, the team have been baking, making and donating what they can to help the local homeless shelters this Christmas. With a fantastic selection of Christmas Jumpers on display this year, everyone caught the festive spirit and donated what they could for some snowman and reindeer cakes, mince pies, apple pie cookies, samosas and some homemade Christmas wreaths.

As a result, we managed to raise an impressive £258.07!!

Crisis run shelters over the Christmas period, £22.29 reserves one place at Crisis at Christmas and provides support from people who really care, a place to sleep that is warm and dry, three nutritious hot meals including Christmas dinner, the chance to shower and change clothes, have a haircut and get a health check, advice on life-changing issues like housing and employment and an introduction to Crisis year-round services for training and support for the future.
