Krome’s Annual Festive Fundraiser for Homeless Charity Crisis

Krome raises £585 for the homeless charity Crisis with a Festive Fundraiser.

Every Christmas the team at Krome runs a festive fundraising day to raise money and support for homeless charity Crisis for Christmas. If you aren’t familiar with Crisis they are the national charity for homeless people in the UK dedicated to ending homelessness and changing lives by getting people off the streets and out of homelessness for good.

Just £28.87 reserves a place for one guest at the Crisis Christmas table at one of the dedicated Crisis Christmas centres. Someone who is homeless will be able to have their own Christmas dinner, get a health check and advice and be introduced to Crisis’ year-round services for support and training in the coming year.

On Christmas Jumper Day this year, the team have once again been baking and donating whatever they can to help the Crisis homeless shelters this Christmas. With a fantastic selection of Christmas Jumpers on display, everyone caught the festive spirit and donated what they could for some homemade delights, including mince pies, gingerbread, cupcakes and more.

As a result, we managed to raise a fantastic total of £585.00. That’s at least 20 people that we can help get in from the cold this Christmas.

Through the generosity of Crisis supporters, they are able to welcome thousands of guests to their dedicated Christmas centres across Britain,  with people coming together from all walks of life to make Christmas a warm, peaceful and hopeful time for people who really needed it.
