This retail giant required an agile partner that would fully support the migration of their 18,000 PCs from Windows XP to Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 in a project that spanned 1,200 stores nationwide, 30 depots and five Support Centres. The customer was also looking to deliver an initiative around flexible working and needed a partner that would support this drive and help create an agile business environment.
Krome delivered a full migration from XP to Windows 7 nationwide for stores and depots. This included a hardware refresh for any out of scope models and a remote build upgrade for the models still supported. Additionally we migrated their nationwide in store support centres from XP/W7 to W8.1.
