Krome Awarded HP Gold Partner Status

Technology integrator Krome Technologies announces today that it has achieved HP Gold Preferred Partner status, securing Gold specialisations in both HP Professional Computing & Storage Solutions.

HP partners qualify for the Gold Preferred Partner level based upon criteria that includes their annual revenue and required sales and technical certifications. As a result of Krome’s sales achievements, in house expertise and their investment in employee certifications across HP’s Professional Computing and Storage Solutions, they have now been officially recognised as an HP Gold Preferred Partner for 2013.

HP announced changes to their 2013 HP PartnerONE Program in June 2012, reiterating that their mission was to reward committed HP partners by providing greater opportunities and advantages to partners with specialist skills throughout 2013.

The new HP PartnerONE Program offers partners a simplified structure, with a choice of just three key areas of technology specialisations including: Computing, Storage and Networking, with two clear certification paths – Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs) or Enterprises.

Following an exceptional growth period in 2012, combined with a continued investment in HP training; Krome, who were previously classified as a Preferred Partner, have successfully gained certification in both the Professional Computing Specialisation and the Professional Storage Specialisation, reinforcing their expertise in selling, deploying and supporting the full HP Enterprise Storage, Servers and Networking (ESSN) portfolio; including storage and data consolidation, virtualisation, application modernisation and business protection solutions to support small and mid-size organisations.

In addition to securing the relevant accreditations, partners are also required to reach an annual revenue target, which is substantially higher than HP standard Preferred Partners; Krome exceeded their annual HP performance targets, demonstrating 123% growth in HP server sales and 43% in HP storage revenue in 2012.

By achieving HP Gold Preferred Partner status Krome will now receive an enhanced level of service and support from HP, as well as improved deal protection and increased discounts on pricing. Working in partnership with HP as a Gold Preferred Partner enables Krome to offer its clients superior levels of service, in addition to competitive pricing and exceptional support.

ESSN Channel Business Operations Manager at Hewlett-Packard, Ben Beeching, comments, “HP is pleased to announce Krome Technologies as Gold Specialists for FY13, and in doing so, recognise the value and expertise that they can offer in HP’s products and solutions. When you work with an HP Specialist such as Krome, you benefit from high-quality planning, deployment, maintenance and support, backed by HP’s world-class products and solutions tailored solutions to meet your business needs.”

Krome’s Sales Director, Sam Mager sees the accreditation as confirmation of Krome and HPs continued commitment to strengthening the existing partnership between the two organisations:

“At Krome we are committed to providing our clients with market leading technologies that are supported by a team with the relevant skills and expertise required to deliver a comprehensive service. Krome has worked closely with HP for several years in order to ensure that we provide our clients with solutions that are at the forefront of market advancements; investing in research and development, and ensuring our team of engineers is fully conversant in the latest technologies that are available. HP is a leading global manufacturer and we are proud to be recognised globally as one of the top 5% of resellers that achieves HP Gold Preferred Partner status”.
