Krome General Data Protection Readiness (GDPR) Event Summary Video

On 29th November 2016 Krome Technologies hosted a GDPR event to discuss the practical implications of the new regulation and how to prepare for the changes

With the GDPR coming into effect on 25 May 2018, now is the time for companies to get their data protection practices in order and aligned with the requirements of the Regulation.

The new law brings in significant changes to how personal data can be collected, stored and used, and will have a substantial impact on all organisations in the European Union. The GDPR introduces tough penalties for data breaches. Fines of up to 4% of the company’s annual global turnover can be enforced, depending on the severity and conditions of the breach.

The Krome GDPR Readiness event was held at stunning private members club The Eight Club in Moorgate and featured presentations from industry leading security vendors, Palo Alto Networks, Varonis and Thycotic along with our guest speaker, independent and government security adviser Mr Joseph Carson.
